You’ve emptied your Outlook trash and want to recover an email you just deleted? Don’t worry!

When working on an exchange server, emails are stored on the server, even when they are deleted. Indeed, when you empty your trash, the deleted emails are kept on the server for 30 days. It is therefore possible to recover them.

To recover a recently deleted item, click the Deleted Items folder. This will bring up additional options in the ribbon.

In the Home menu, the Actions section appeared. Click Recover Deleted Items from Server.

Select the items you want to restore and click OK.

Please note: You will only find items that have been deleted in the last 30 days (the date on which the trash was emptied).
