The essential gestures, gathered thanks to my son
While helping my son prepare for his PIX certification, I realised something important:
some actions — simple once you know them — are actually never explained clearly.
So I started grouping these essential gestures:
the small fundamentals that make everything easier once you finally understand them.
These tips aren’t “for children”.
They aren’t “for beginners”.
They’re simply the basics I had to teach my son… and that many adults never had the chance to learn.
That’s why I created this tag:
a way to quickly find the most essential tips, fully integrated into the Misty’Tips catalogue.
Word – PowerPoint: Print in booklet mode or note pages
Print Word documents in booklet mode to save paper while keeping the document readable and pages of notes on PowerPoint
PowerPoint: No more memory lapses with the use of notes
When giving a presentation, the concern of forgetting your lines can be daunting. Thanks to PowerPoint notes, those worries are outdated.
Excel: Copy a Chart as a Picture
Do you have a nice chart in Excel that you want to paste into a presentation, but the layout changes as soon as you paste it?
Word: Page number X of Y
In Word, you want to number your pages in page number / total page number but can’t find the option?
Change the display language
Want to put your apps in a language other than the default? Change the display language.
